On March 9, 2025, the Hakka Association of NY held its 27th Annual Party, celebrating its 27th anniversary. Nearly 300 members and guests gathered to commemorate this special occasion and share in the festivities. We sincerely appreciate everyone who attended and supported the event. A special thank you to President Rong-Guang Chiu of the Taiwan Hakka Association of the World, former President Chen-Chien Chung, President Hsin-Hung Hsu of the Hakka Association of LA, and President Rui-Ying Lin of the Hakka Association of Vancouver for sending heartfelt video messages.

The event featured a rich and diverse program that immersed attendees in Hakka culture. The Hakka Choir opened the ceremony with a beautiful performance, followed by guest performances that enlivened the atmosphere. The Hakka UN-NGO Team shared their achievements over the past year, highlighting the active involvement of promoting Hakka culture in New York. Also, a vibrant tea-picking dance performance added a blend of tradition and modern artistic expression, captivating the audience.

Of course, one of the most anticipated segments was the raffle, which brought excitement and joy as winners took home prizes. This annual party was not only a celebration of 27 years of dedication and growth but also a new milestone, symbolizing the ongoing preservation and development of Hakka culture in North America. We deeply appreciate everyone’s participation and support, making this event a wonderful memory. We look forward to gathering again next year to create even more amazing Hakka memories together!
